in Credit cards
This is my first time to do an online shopping. However, I decided to not continue the purchase because the online store ask me to provide my account information before allowing me to place my order. Is this normal?

Not necessarily. The question is as vague as can be got. Just what information. Your card account information, the site account information
So what site did you try and buy from, and using what method of payment?
What information did it ask for that made you concerned?
Catalogue sites like you to give them your details because it opens credit accounts, simplybe, yours, very, littlewoods
Some normal sites allow you to check out as guest therefore not giving them any saved information
But as a rule of thumb, you need to register on a site (create an account) to buy from it.0 -
