BT Dect digital phones - help please?!

Hi

not sure if this is the right board - apologies if it isnt!

I have recently purchased a twin set of BT Dect digital phones - unfortunatley thrown the box/instruction booklet! :mad:

The problem is my youngest was playing with one of the handsets and now it wont let me make or receive calls. If you attempt to make a call it says " Not possible":rolleyes:

Any ideas would be greatly received

Have you got anything on the screen if not press the power button on bottom left of handset, if you have a key in the screen press 8 9 *.

On the screen it reads Handset 2, the signal sign and the battery sign. It will let me "lock" the handset and unlock it but still no joy at making or receiving calls!

Thanks I had a look but unfortunately not sure what type of phones I have!! I know, I know!!! Thought we had kept the book - but hubby thinks it was binned!
I was just wondering if anybody else has came across this problem?!

Sounds like it's been de-registered.

I have a Studio 1100... Try scrolling the menu to "Register", then "Select Base", then press "1" and see if that works. Otherwise you'll need to re-register it properly with the base.

Just realised - sorry its a Freestyle 3200. Still doesnt mention this problem in the user guide tho. Might have to ring BT helpdesk direct.
Doesnt give me the option under register to nominate a base.

Hi everyone. I'm new to the board so please be kind!

Pinkhammy - did you have any luck with your Freestyle 3200 as I am having exactly the same problem with one of my handsets? If I try to make a call it says 'not possible' and it will ring when we get a call but won't let me answer - it just beeps.

Any ideas?

i hope it was recylced and not binned get on to BT, problem is different BT stuff is made in different countries by diffferent manufacturers - some are not the best of quality, just rebadged BT, Telstra in AU has alot of BT handsets rebadged Telstra
