Julie. Hope your son can get some help.

    Camelot have a great holiday

Luxor welcome and happy retirement. I'm in a sort of semi-retirement stage at the moment, but I'm eager for full retirement!

It's a very pleasant day here at the moment, sunny, warm but not too close. I'm waiting for a parcel to be delivered, but as soon as that's done I'll go out an do some bits in the garden. OH. Is home today too, and he's already mown the front lawn and washed my car for me.

We'll have salad for dinner again, so that'll be simple.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Morning All,

It is a very pleasant day here, about 20C, and nice and sunny.

Camelot - enjoy your holiday, don't forget my bar of rock! ;)

Luxor - congratulations and enjoy your retirement. I join you in 69 days! ;)

Julie - BIG HUGS for you and the family, not very pleasant I imagine.

Not very happy with the news that ERNIE has reduced the number of prizes from August onwards.

Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

Moorhen I am fine thanks. Ive just had a bath and trimmed my hair. Hair cutting I find is easier with practice and now ive got some length in it I am finding it easier to manage. That reminds me, I think it was Bitsy who recommended I used Baby Shampoo on my hair when I moaned about my hair last. Well Bitsy, I want to thank you. Its made such a difference to my hair.:T What with the newly found Baby Shampoo on my hair and a cotton pad moistened with warm vinegar on my face at bed time. My hair and skin has taken a new lease of life. Good job hubby is fast asleep when I come to bed though in case I stink!:o

I am now debating as to whether to trust the weather with my laundry. Its warm but humid out there.

News from the Baby House. The little boy my daughter and her partner are hoping to adopt had an hospital appointment yesterday. There is a strong possibility he will need lengthy and painful treatment on his legs. Theres a strong possibility he has Blounts disease. I really hope it doesn't come to surgery.

Millie dog got me up again in the night. I thought she had done with all that! I staggered back to bed at 3.30 and then couldn't sleep.

Julie I hope you get on well at the doctors with your son. I must admit, my practise was really helpful with me. I hope your practise is the same.

Camelot have a lovely holiday and luxor4t, I am glad you can join us. The more the merrier.

    Have a great day all,

    Morning all!
Julie big hugs for you all, my son is still struggling, and will need to "start again" with a new counsellor since he's now 18, not looking forward to that but at times I can notice the difference in his thinking and behaviour.
I've been at the docs today, another 4 week line and dose of antid's increased, some days I just feel "stuck", hey ho, its still early days, was 7 months this week since we lost OH. Now am getting ready to go out for lunch with my friend, hopefully the rain keeps off but I have my doubts as its gone very dull.
Better get a move on or I will miss the train, have a good day all!
    RIP Iain

    Good morning everyone
this is the first day of my early retirement so I thought I'd stop skimming and start talking.
Happy Retirement, luxor. I took early retirement on medical grounds back in 2001.:o
I have to pop down to pick up a prescription and some more dressings for my toes today so I am going in a little while before everywhere starts getting busy, I will have a look on the market as well, because I am looking for a nice summer skirt and there do not seem to be many about in the big stores, not that we have a lot of stores around here, we usually have to go to Milton Keynes, Hemel Hempstead or Luton which is a dive of a town that I hate with a passion.

Right DS has just got my scooter out for me so I am off
Those of us with scooters should have a get-together - Hell's Crones, perhaps??:rotfl:
    How's your poor toesies now?
Fwiw, I've had some lovely skirts, and a couple of dresses, from the market in Central MK, from a very pleasant gentleman in a turban, has a stall more or less in the centre of the market, I think.:o

Mr LW went and got our prescriptions before he left for w*rk this morning;) - just need to get them filled - we shall go Friday evening (S/Drug are open til 20:00 and my preferred pharmacist should be on duty then).

Cl@ssicFM were playing Vivaldi's Guitar Concerto this morning - I'm sorry, but that piece of music just doesn't come across as Vivaldi intended for me - not since Pete Sinfield did "Song of the Sea Goat" about a million years ago.:D

Maybe we could start our own perfume range - Judi could do "Eau de Chip Shop" and I could do "Eau de Damp Dog".:rotfl:
Come on you lot, any more contributions?:D:D:D:D:D
