So if I read this correctly, you put a link into your item description, someone reported it and eBay removed the item.
So, just relist without the link. What's the issue ?

Ebay state that any items listed can be removed at any time. They're not going to leave a listing up that has a link to their competition. Why would they leave it up for you to fix, you could take ages to fix it. In that time any number of people could have seen your listing, clicked the link and bought elsewhere.

It broke the rules, they removed it. They're giving you a chance to fix it now so take out the link, make sure it follows all the rules and just relist.

It would make sense if the system stopped it going through when it has a link like that in, but it obviously doesn't and I'm sure there's a reason why they haven't done that. They do, however, list all the rules and state clearly why your listing was removed.

Sorry, but that's not Ebays problem. In future make sure you know all the rules and stick to them.

If it were another seller who had broken the rules you'd be complaining if Ebay didn't remove the listing. If you're a good seller and follow the rules there's no reason why you can't make it to the first page and sell plenty of items.
