Can anyone help??
I've eventually found the integral sound recorder on my new Vista laptop. I seem to be able to sucessfuly record and then save the file to the harddrive.
But how to then playback??
I've opened Windows media player and started teh file, but there's no sound, although volume is on full..Has anyone got a solution??
thanks

click on the speaker icon, bottom right. there are sliders, mute boxes, and a mixer so that the pc can tell what to record, line in, microphone etc.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

what are you recording, where from? can you see any evidence that it is recording sound, like a level meter?

I'm just recording myself singing ! (mad as i am). no.. i can't see any indicators to tell me what's happening. I jsut open sound recorder, then click 'start recording'. Once i do this, a clock starts to time the recording.albertross wrote: »what are you recording, where from? can you see any evidence that it is recording sound, like a level meter?
