Credit card with 0% on purchases

Hi.
We are planning to go to Florida with family in Aug 2014, the total cost will come to £8000. Can I pay this using a credit card with 0% on purchases? I can save up this amount in the next 12 months but need the money now to start booking the holiday. Please advice.
What credit card should I choose? That will give me the required credit limit with 0% on purchases. I will be using PayPal too to pay for the villa.
Thank you.

In theory, there's nothing to stop you doing this. You will be required to make a minimum payment each month, typically between 2.5% and 3.5% of the outstanding balance.
There's no telling what credit limit you'll be assigned by (any) credit card company, without knowing more of your history, income etc. As a general rule, your own bank is always a good starting point, but, of course, that would depend on whether or not they offer a 0% promotion.
That's my practical advice. Standby for the (well meaning) verbal assault on your expensive, unsaved for holiday, which, IMHO, you should take note of!
Good luck!
:beer:Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right!
