IVA and PPI / charges claim - is it worth it? and how?

Hi I am new to this forum and would be really grateful on any advice regards claiming PPI and other charges etc whilst in an IVA. Our IVA handler is saying that we should pursue a claim. If a claim is successful would the proceeds be simply swallowed up by the IVA? If the consensus is to proceed with a PPI claim is there a search you can do to identify the cards loans you had over the years as I cant remember everthing I had!! I am truly grateful to anyone taking the time to help me out. :question:

Hi Vortex, welcome along.

In my opinion, it seems very much IP based how PPI is handled. From my first PPI experience, my IP claimed all refunded money and paid hmrc the tax due on the interest. Other users here have been more successful with getting something back from the IP with money claimed.

Which IP are you with, maybe one of the other users can comment based on their experience.
