    And don't worry, I must admit I didn't think of Stompa's solution either!
    It seemed the obvious solution without resorting to macros. Perfectly sufficient for a one-off, but the macro method is obviously better should you need to do it many times.

    I prefer stompas solution - so simple yet so elegant!

    In programming, it is always best to go for the simple way out if you can.

    Also, iirc you cannot easily 'undo' what a macro has done, but you can undo data sorts etc.

    Some neat tricks there - I find Excel amazingly bug free, especially compared with Word
