Help please

Hi,
Our income is 29000 at the mo, dh has been in the same job forever and has been for an interview for a job today, he hears at the weekend.
The new job, should he get it be freelance and paid at £85 a day, about 22k per year.

The entitledto site does not give an option for salary cut and the tax credit helpline I think are lying.

So any idea how much we should get in tax credits on a job chance about 15th july house hold income 22k and 5 kids all over 1?

Thanks

Well if you're not working, I don't think you'll get alot.. .only CTC which works out at £545 per child doesn't it?

So, if that's right... you'd get £52 a week... approximately.

I wouldnt have thought you would be entitled to any wtc, but have a look at this site and do a calculation

Can't you just put £22k as your income into entitledto? I am sure you will get more than the family element of £545 though.

We already get tax credits the child element not the working part. We get more that the £545 per yr coz of our family size-to income ratio.
Yes I can just put in the figure of 22k but the ansewer will be wrong as dh will of have part of the year at a higer salary.
Thanks for your comments ppl but not the ansewers to the questions I asked.
    Anybodyelse have any idea?
    Cheers.

you would be better off ringing tax credits and asking them to do a calculation for you
