Hello all,
My wife is in the process of trying to claim ppi on a card account she had in 2004 before we were married. She sent off the letter and details and they rang within 24 hours! They found the accounts concerned and asked over the phone if she would like to complain which she duly did which I thought was a bit odd!!!
Anyway, a week or so later ie last week , they rang back asking questions like, at that time you had the cards/ loans did you have life insurance, sick pay etc and so on! She has tried to contact her old employer but they have since been bought out by another company who she can't contact! They are due to call back soon and expect her to have these answers but there is no way she can get them! What shall we do???? I recently had various successful claims and had no problems or questions like these at all.
Regards
Chris

They are trying to find out if she had no need of the insurance, so she may have said there was no need for it because she had good sick pay etc.
If the firm no longer exist, you'll have to tell them that.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
