    I regularly buy dedicated servers for my customers.. usually about £60 a month min with "some" management facilities already built it...


    Yes - if you are at all unsure about your on-going relationship with the designer - then get the site on CD...
  • £100 a month support and £50 a month hosting - your designer is taking the Michael. :eek:

    You've just proved that you can get hosting for £5 a month (a tenth of the price), so what else are they over charging you for?

    You are probably too far down the line to stop the 'build' but don't spend any more money on 'extras' from these people.

    It will probably work out OK in the end once it's finished and you're out of their control. An expensive lesson to learn but at least you're getting FREE advice from people on here.
