Booking Excursions for Lanzarote

Hi everyone
We have booked a holiday to Lanzarote for Sept 2013 AI for a week, we have been saving like mad and have saved quite a bit.
My question is we are wanting to do some of the excursions such as wild west bbq and tequise market and possibly a few more, now I hate spending more money than we should so should be book before we go or book them when we get there direct with the people running the excursions.
Thanks in advance for all your help

Sorry I should mention that neither of us have ever left the uk for a holiday, so we are pretty much naïve about this sort of thing. We have both learnt so much from the forum and that's how we managed to save so much and book our first foreign holiday.0

we always use http://www.lastminute-transfer.com/lastminute_trip.asp book when you are there, plenty of their shops in the resorts
we also use them for transfers from the airport. cannot fault them0 -
For the Teguise market definitely book in advance with the link from 'jhe'. Other than that, look for shops advertising excursions from 'Customer Travel' when you get there.
Can I ask which resort you're staying in? I may be able to guide you towards a shop.
If you're going to take a few excursions, it may be just as cheap and more convenient to have a car delivered to your accommodation, which Vicente do for a very good price, see the link below. That way, you don't have to gamble on weather etc when booking (not that there is much of a gamble, 90% of the time lanzarote is sunny!!!
