QVC & P&P Costs on Faulty Item?

Hi recently returned & received a replacement from QVC. The 'tablet' I returned had a fault & QVC's policy states ' QVC will only pay P&P for the return of damaged items, faulty items, or for those items different from the original order.'
They have refunded the original postage of £6.95, but with such an item needing a signature, 1st class recorded postage cost me £10 & even 2nd class would have been over £9 Therefore 'am £3.05p sort?
'am I entitled to full cost of return postage for a faulty item?
Thx

Collect+ would have been around £7 including a signature - I'd use them next time.
There were options available at the price they've refunded, so I don't think you'll get the difference back.0 -

Yes, you are. You sent it by a sensible postage method for the product. If they wanted it by a specific method then they could have arranged it and sent a pre-paid returns label.
Out of interest, you say they've refunded the original £6.95. Do you mean they've refunded you that twice, once to cover the original postage and once to cover the return? Otherwise you are the full £10+ out of pocket.0 -
Actually I've got it wrong I've not been given any refund back as yet.......but QVC have just emailed to say I just need to send them proof of postage.

They have always been good with us, if we have called in advance to warn them something is coming back they have sent a courier to collect the item.0
