If I start a college course while I'm still on Income Support and I haven't finished the course by the time my child is 5, will I still have to change onto Job Seeker's and find a job, even though I'm doing a course? Also, do you have to pay for college courses if you're on Job Seeker's? But you don't if you're on Income Support?

Payment depends on course and age.
There is transitional protection for those on income support if starting a course that ends beyond their income support claim.
But if its a course split into 2, for example, level 2 then 3, each course is separate and the protection ends on the date of your current learning agreement. Many courses are advertised as full time, but actually year by year on the learning aim.0 -

Help with fees is usually based on means tested benefits which your JSA wil be when you start to claim. If the course is full time, JCP may not accept that you're eligible for JSA.0
