Had a knock at the door last night from this company trying to get an appt to send a technician to see if our house is suitable.
Door knocker claims its not a rent a roof scheme and they take the FIT payments until its paid for 'she quoted 7-10 yrs'
She went on how the rent a roof scheme wasn't good as you have problems selling and you don't with this scheme and once the panels are paid for the FIT payments are yours.
Now as I've just sold my house last year with panels fitted under the rent a roof scheme I had no problems selling, except I had to sell as a lease hold rather than freehold.
So has anyone heard of them or this scheme? I didn't book an appt because I am always wary of door knockers who are 'in the area'
I would like panels however but don't have the money to pay for them.
