I started a part time job a few weeks ago and now my council tax is in a right mess. I'm working 18 hours and I've now been told I must pay full council tax, they came up with the figure because they've counted my wages, tax credits and even child benefit.
Does this sound right?

Each Local Authority runs their own Council Tax Support scheme - there are no longer one set of rules. So it would depend how generous your local scheme is.These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.0 -
Why shouldn't all your income be taken into consideration?Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0
