I have a pre-used Skoda with a Skoda Symphony car radio/cd player. Unfortunately the user manual was not supplied with the car. I have looked on the internet but can only find one of dubious origins and am reluctant to download it. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement user guide and also, does it support AM radio as I want to listen to the cricket but to date I cannot get beyond FM.

Does it look like this because the AM/FM button is clearly marked.

The one highlighted? No it does not. There is one like it - second from left in top row (with TechniSat in display). You will see that it has the digital display panel in the top row with 123 456 each side (pre sets) and then two rows of press buttons each side of the round knob below this.

These buttons are marked respectively on top row left to right: CD, AUD, GEO (round knob) A/F <, >, on second row left to right: AS, SCN, AIM (round knob), TP, <<, >> .

I tried the button on the right of the knob on the top row, marked A/F but all that does is toggle between FM1 and FM2. Maybe there is another button that has to be pressed in sequence to access AM?

What happens if you press and hold the A/F button?

If it is a Grundig-sourced radio, you just press and hold the A/F button for a couple of seconds to switch b/w AM and FM. Pressing it quickly switches between AM1 and AM2, or FM1 and FM2.

Thanks for this . Hardly intuitive is it? Would be nice to source a user guide. So far draw a blank apart from one of those shady websites where they make you download a load of dodgy software to get at it. Anyone?
