the description of the points is 'May Promotion'

Anybody know what thats all about ? - was it for buying a train ticket in a certain time period ?

I've just signed up and joined the MSE league, but it says the admin/person in charge of the league needs to accept me, if they don't accept before kick-off tomorrow will I still be able to join? Thank in advance

Do I need to register to the loyalty points/train ticket part of the website. If I don't join can I not get any points from this comp? and I don't understand because surely as I've signed up to the website i've signed up to the loyalty points part too? help im confused! haha. Thanks in advance

Not sure, but my advice would be to join the loyalty scheme too to make sure there is somewhere for your loyalty points to go!

Eventually you will need a train ticket account with the same email address as well as a fantasy league account as they are different accounts

However there is no rush as i dont think the the loyalty points will be awarded until the end of the season next year

Even if you forget to create a seperate train ticket account until AFTER the loyalty points are awarded all is still not lost because if you sunsequently create an account with the correct email address the loyalty points will still appear

.. on the first match I've checked (basically to see who played so as to make a possible transfer)

Chelsea - Lampard - ONLY 5 points

As a Midfielder

5 for scoring a goal
1 for keeping a clean sheet

+2 for being on the pitch for at least 70 minutes (actually NOT substituted)

Strange that his playing partner - Midfielder OSCAR

who also scored a goal and played the 70 minutes (WAS substituted after 85 mins) and obviously kept the same clean sheet ...


... has the CORRECT points score of 8

Who knows how many other mistakes there are.

I suggest EVERYONE spends at least a few moments to at least check their OWN PLAYERS have been awarded the points they are due

Well that's good news then, but what I don't understand is that it (under "missed Pen") was not shown on the points breakdown for Lampard - at least on the page I was looking at.

I'm just a tad "paranoid" about this sort of thing happening after the Wimbledon debacle.

A player had an incorrect points score which I pointed out to RSH, they acknowledged the error agreeing to correct it but then "resolved" it by removing him from the tournament despite the fact he then went on to win 2 more matches, almost becoming a quarter finalist :doh:

Do players who have transferred in the real world continue to earn points in their new teams? Can't find an answer in the FAQs.
