Payment was by bank transfer and as the name, sort code and account number were provided it seemed straight forward. I have previously made a transaction this way but will not do so in the future.0

There is quite a detailed article about this crime, in today's Edinburgh News. It states that over 50 people have been affected. I have been unable to post the link on here because I am a new member. However, on the House Buying, Renting & Selling board, Hunters has posted a link.0
