Hi
Can anyone tell me how (or if it's possible) to compress video files on my pc - (they are wmv files), so that I can download them to a mobile phone? The files are massive at the moment so I need to compress them to have any chance.
Thanks in advance.

You could use something like Super to convert them to a format and size your phone supports

If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
.wmv files are already highly compressed. You could try using Windows Media Encoder 9 to reduce their resolution and/or frame rate, which will reduce the file size.0

Dont put WMV on your phone. Convert them to 3gp.
Decent software is from Xilisoft but u gotta pay for it. Trial version only does a small portion.
I think the Nokia Multimedia software does it but quality aint that great:hello:

Shopping Tips
Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.0
