Pru car insurance - Error on Policy taken March 07

You would not believe the hassle i've just been through with Pru.
Having taken a policy out end March, and just recieved my Cashback, I noticed i have no documentation for the free breakdown cover. (see image below)
Upon phoning them, they said the offer expired Oct 06!!, and that i had to post in proof of the offer!!
25 mins on the phone and eventually being put through to a team leader, who had the sense to research this with the sales department - admitted the above offer was valid, they appologised for their lack of knowledge and i will recieve confirmation of my breakdown policy within 5 working days.
It seems Customer Service were not informed of this offer, thus when new policies were enrolled by customer service, the breakdown cover wasn't added!!
If you took out Pru car insurance around the same time as me - check you've recieved this offer, and if not give them a call. Craig, the team leader i spoke to, said he would be sending a memo out to all customer service agents.

When I had green flag out they damaged my car and I had to amke a claim against them, so I wouldn't have it even if it was free.
I'm sure lots of other people have had posistive experiences.0
