I suspect that the OP is looking for a website where they can select an area of the UK and it will come up with ideas for days out, which is why the didn't specify the area they actually come from.
I too would really appreciate such a website

I use "days out with the kids" website. The ideas on there aren't necessarily cheap but you do get a broad spectrum of activities.0
