Good quality 10 inch tablet

Options
Hi,

I'm looking for my first tablet. I've decided on 10 inch because I'll be spending most of my time web browsing, and a 7 inch screen would require far too much zooming and panning.

So I've been looking at the following tablets:

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (£229)
Asus MeMO pad Smart 10 (£229)
Archos 97 Titanium (£189) - 9.7 inch
Lenovo A2109 (£169) - 9 inch

I think the Lenovo might be a little small for web browsing though. Also my budget really tops out at £200, but I'm hoping come the end of the month the Tab 2 10.1 will get a nice price drop because that's when the Tab 3 10.1 should be coming out.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? Or any recommendations where I can get the above tablets cheaper?

Thanks,

I'd much rather go for a known brand, it's likely to be a better build quality, and have more online support.
    Google nexus 10

You can't get a nexus 10 for less than my budget of £200...

I would say either Lenovo or Asus.

    Lenovo for the price.
Asus for its spec and Asus usually is the first one other than Nexus to get updated.

Galaxy Tab is almost identical to the Note 10.1 .
Just a bit slower and less responsive than the note .
It should also be up datable to the latest Android .

Archos stuff is very good value for the money, though the build quality on the casing tends to be not the best.

Build quality on the Samsungs is great.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think the Note 10.1 is out of the question, as it's £349 everywhere I look.

It appears I missed an offer on the Asus MeMo Pad a while back at tesco for £209 which is a little disappointing.

I have had a play with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and it seemed quite responsive and very well built, but the one annoying thing about it is that it's got a proprietary 30-pin connector and no microUSB.

I've also started to look at the Acer Iconia A210, which looks pretty decent. Has anyone used one?

I've just bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1", and I love it. I did look at the note but couldn't justify the extra money.

I'm glad you like it, it does seem very well built. I'm hoping it get's a price drop when the Tab 3 10.1 comes out.

I've just stumbled across the Archos 101 Titanium (£147.97)

And the Acer Iconia A210 (£187.97)

    Both from Laptops Direct.
