HIGHVIEW PARKING FINE - Please help!

Hi, I received a parking fine from Highview Parking LTD on or around the 23rd of May, I immediately went online and the advice I saw (though not on this site) was to ignore it as it was not enforceable by law. I have since then received a further parking charge notice making the charge rise to approx £120.00.

A couple of days ago I received a notice from Debt Recovery Plus LTD asking for £145.24 or they will consider taking court action to recover what I owe :-(

I never park over 4 hours at the Shopping Centre, and I genuinely don't think I did this time, I may very well have pooped there twice in one day but I wouldn't have stayed for that many hours. I believe the first trip was to pick up my Mother from work at Tesco, but even if she had a little bit of shopping to do, it would NOT have taken 4:53 (hh:mm) as they are claiming.

Please help as I know now that I should have appealed in the first place. I hope it's not too late!

Thanks in advance,

Lacey Blue

Panic ye not, Lacey. You may be too late to appeal but nonetheless Highview are a complete bunch of nitwits and the chances of anything happening beyond a stream of letters are vanishingly small.

Debt Recovery Plus are completely powerless. Despite all their threats and bluster they can't do anything other than huff and puff at you, they really can't.

  • So do you suggest that I continue to ignore it? I'm very grateful for any advice.

I'm really worried after this latest letter, I can't afford to pay :-(

    Thank you

Pay or ignore are your only choices Lacey - and ignore is the only choice that makes sense!

Ignore it but complain to the Store Manager at Tesco and the CEO as well. Loads of people have had these fake PCNs cancelled by Supermarkets when they show themselves to be genuine (annoyed) customers!

Tesco's CEO's email addy is on that thread. Go straight to the top and get the stupid threat cancelled.

    ...and no more pooping!!

    :rotfl:
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
