QN: Eurostar
Never travelled by it and i'm trying to book a advance ticket from Network Rail from the eurostar train to take me home (as the price difference is a lot). My qn is from the arrival time of the eurostar how long should i give it before the departure of my normal train. Ie is there likely to be big delays, is there some sort of customs or controll that would stop me/delay me from taking my next train. At the moment its 40ish mins between the trains wondering if thats enough. The price means its worth taking the risk of missing the train vs getting an open ticket.

Ask about a train ticket to/from London International. This is a special deal that is only available to Eurostar passengers. Essentially, it is a flexible ticket for the price of one at a fixed time. You need to speak to someone since I don't think you can buy it on-line.0

I've just returned from this trip, the customs and passport control are all done on check in which is 30 mins prior to departure, when you get off it's just like a normal train, onto the platform,up the steps and you're out! no delays only loads of people.

This may be the C.I.V. ticket. More here.
