Sunny, but not funny

As a long time viewer of these threads, I felt so incensed about my recent experience that I felt prompted to post for the first time.

I have just had Sunday off work, and decided to 'Chillax out man '( in the vernacular of the young and trendy).
To this end I purchased 2 cans of a well known lager beer, and drank them in my garden, whilst listening to the thwack of leather on willow on my wireless, with the TMS gentlemen. (Aggers, Blowers, Tuffers, Geoff Boycotters, and the Ozzers)
It was NOT a very interesting game, and I'm afraid I fell asleep.

Now, here is my dilemma. I have suffered severe hurt and distress from sunburn, and look like this.......

Could the collected knowledge of this fine board please advise. Do I claim my 'compo' From

A) The lager beer producers
B) The TMS team
C) The Ozzers and their batsmen
or
D) The government, who allowed this situation to occur without forbidding me from going into my garden, in the sun, with my sleeves rolled up.

Just think of the consequences if this had happened not to a healthy and intelligent adult, but to a child......or a kitten.

Thanks in advance.

Don't forget the seating equipment manufacturers, they must take some of the blame for making you comfortable and allowing you to fall asleep. :rotfl:

Gordon. Your cat looks angry. Perhaps it needs to sit in the shade more.

Yes, only people over 25 or in politics use it now.

OP, have you considered that your parents should be held liable for failing to teach you the basic rules of drinking, while sitting in a comfy chair listening to sport in the sunshine, and should therefore be forced to pay for all associated therapy required to help you over the survivors guilt (it might well have been a kitten, which might have died - oh, the humanity etc)

Having done some extensive research on this very subject (30 seconds on google) I think you will find that Section 16 paragraph 49 sub paragraph 507 appendix 257a of the European Human Rights Act will cover your claim, a very nice ex prime ministers wife will be very pleased to represent you (for a small but fair fee).:D

Sue the whole of Australia, and South Africa. That's where most of the players come from
