Child Tax Credit question - hours

Hi all,

Does anyone know the significance of the total hours worked on a child tax credit claim?

I've had my annual review pack and they still have my working hours down as 15 but I actually increased them to 18 in October. Does anyone know how this will affect my claim and whether I've been overpaid as a result of this?

Thanks very much.

I think it would have to be over 30 hours to get more tax credits.

You would be now entitled to WTC due to working over 16hrs.

Yes if other circumstances apply like low income, single parent etc you are entitled to more credits by working over 16hrs a week so do give them a ring.
