I sincerely hope so as I've ordered one for a friends DSC-P8 - Both these cameras take Memory Stick Pro's.... I think the Ultra bit just means it's a bit faster.

got my memory stick from amazon today0

I got a parcel today, sadly amazon sent me the SD card model instead of the Memorystick Pro model - so its being sent back for replacement.
Looking at the packaging I'm not surprised the packer picked the wrong item as there is no reference to what type of flash card it is other than looking physically at the card or at the model code by the barcode on the back.0 -
Cancelled my first order and reorder with Sony DSC-P200 digicam. Availability was 1-2 weeks before, but it is on 24 hr last night when I ordered mine .. but now it went to unconfirmed delivery date again .. arghh!! Bad move .. and PCWorld has DSC-P200 £24 cheaper (with the 10% discount) .. dang!0

Cut & paste from a well know site:
PC World have recently issued a 10% off code (PCWAFF10DC) which is valid against the purchase of any digital camera. In addition to this they also have a well known 5% off code (DCBYAW) valid against all purchases.0 -
Thanks mate. I've been meaning to buy a memory stick for the Sony camcorder I got in the initial Argos run-off sale last October - ah, those were the days!
Half a gig of memory will do nicely at that price.0 -

Thanks
Ultra II is rated as 66x which is pretty darn fast. They do an Extreme III 'model' rated at 133x but in tests it was only marginally faster (~ 0.5Mps) than the Ultra II for a large price premium.
I've got a 1GB SD card from a chappie on eBay for £54 brand new, elsewhere it's

OK...... Mother-in-law has just got a cyber-shot DSC-F88..... So she needs a decent Memory Stick rather than the daft 32mb Memory Stick supplied.
So..... If anyone can help..... Two Questions.....
1. What sort of delivery have buyers experienced? (MIL going on hols a week Friday)
2. She'll only ever be printing at a max of 8" X 5" (I think that's the ratio).... So will the 1M Fine setting be OK, or does she need to go to 3m?
5M (2592 x 1944)
5M / 3:2 ratio (2592 x 1728)
3M / (2048 x 1536)
1M (1280 x 960)
