At the moment, I am also looking for the cheapest memory stick duo that I can find. Because the sony PSP takes the memory stick duo cards (they also work fine on cameras etc.) other places are now selling them.
DVD soon (a canadian website) has the 1gb (1024kb) card for CAN$169.99 (Just under £72) and the 512mb for CAN$89.99 (just over £38) - plus lots of other stuff - sheck out the cheap first season dvd box sets on the home page.

Has anyone found cheaper memory stick duos?'Imagine something inspiring that somebody once said to you and go out there and win!'0 -
Bear in mind that packages from DVD Soon are almost always charged customs fees because they mark the full value on the box. But the 1GB could still be a good price even with the added charges.
Apart from them, eBay's probably your best bet.0 -

...Has anyone found cheaper memory stick duos?
Have you tried this place?
EMartBuy
512Mb duo is £47.83 delivered
1Gb duo is £97.17 delivered
I ordered a standard Memory Stick Pro from them about six months back and it turned up within 2/3 days. I remember being very impressed with the service.Ah! Good old trusty beer... I hope you never change.0 -
is this sandisk ultra II the fast type of memory?
Thanks0 -
Does anyone know what the smallest and cheapest Memory stick is. I don't need a huge one, just a small one to replace the sad old floppy I carry around for important stuff.
Thanks.0 -
We're on about a Sony Memory Stick for use in Sony cameras (among other things). If you want to replace a floppy, think you want a USB memory dongle type device. Check dabs (https://www.dabs.com) or Ebuyer for cheap prices.Ah! Good old trusty beer... I hope you never change.0

For a UK site (no duty etc.) I found this on another thread, it may be cheaper in the long run. Type 'memory stick duo' (or whatever) in the search box:

I wouldn't waste your time importing memory sticks etc as you can more or less source these things as cheap in the UK.I just recently got my PSP from Japan so am now trying to source a 1gb duo pro which is proving difficult as most places don't have them in stock and won't have until early May from what I've heard. As somebody mentioned earlier,MyMemory.co.uk are about the cheapest for the duo pro and believe me,I've looked pretty much everywhere in the uk!!
Not far behind price wise is XLShop
Getting back to importing,I enquired last week with customs and excise about import duty etc on a PSP game I was planning to import from the US and they told me that I'd have to pay the vat (17.5%) PLUS the import duty (3.5%) which obviously bumps up your prices that you see on US websites (Alright, there are ways around import duty etc etc which we all know about BUT worse case scenario, you end up paying 21% more in the end which makes the prices comparable if not more than the UK!!)
Good luck

Good advice there NickA, I must say that I've never had a problem with customs charges but I have been lucky and it is a gamble, especially on high value items. Many eBay sellers abroad are familiar with the system and automatically mark down packages to avoid charges.
However, even with the favourable USD exchange rate, flash memory is rapidly reducing in price here in the UK so there's less of a reason to look abroad nowadays0
