Just a quick gripe

Have viewed many properties over the last few weeks, none but one of which we liked enough to put in an offer.
However, is it just us being unlucky, but only a couple of EAs have phoned us back to ask for feedback.
We must be lucky with our EA as she has phoned us about every one of our viewings on our house which is selling with feedback, negative and positive.
Just a comment on what EAs seem to do, or not do.

The estate agent currently selling my house seems to phone every viewer 3 times on average to get feedback from them, as well as keeping a close weather eye on viewers to suss them out whilst they are here.
After 3 phone-calls and/or messages to viewers asking for feedback they then seem to leave it, as that is their personal definition of correct amount to check back for this and, after that, they seem to come to conclusion that if viewer hasn't responded by then they are just plain rude and unlikely to buy the place anyway.
I would tend to agree with that.0 -
I would think that was fair enough too, as you are quite right that after three attempts/answer machine messages it would be clear to me that the viewer wasn't interested in offering anything so why waste more of everyone's time.
But just to not try at all is poor.0 -
We are in the process of completing on our first property and we had the same issue Out of the 16/17 properties we saw, I was only called 3 times to follow up!
Personally, I was really disappointed with most of the EAs we ran into. We had EAs not showing up to viewings, showing up 30 mins - 1 hour late, constantly cancelling viewings, sending me to the wrong property, putting up the wrong photos for a property, not having any of the vital information for the property (Basic info like service charges, tax band etc.). I would be so angry if I was paying the EA a huge chunk of money to sell my house and then found out they were doing a lackluster job of it.0
