For fruit stains, even blackberry juice, or beetroot etc try this old trick of my grans.
Get a big bowl or saucepan. Put the kettle on to boil. Meanwhile, place the stained bit of garment over the pan/bowl and hold there with a strong elastic band. It should be tight like a drum if you get what I mean.
Now for the magic bit! Get the kettle, pour boiling water SLOWLY into the pan/bowl through the stain FROM A HEIGHT (cover your hands so you don't get burned) and watch the stain disappear before your very eyes. It's amazing! Works on Ribena, squash , and even on red wine sometimes .
Needs to be done immediately or less effective.0 -
I dripped strawberry juice on a white top last week, all I did was squish some washing up liquid into the stain and put it on a normal wash and the stain was gone. I'm not normally this lucky with my washing so must have caught it in time.0

When I used to play melon rugby in the mess, I was told, map art from never head the thing until it is squidgy, but as soon as you got to your room, put your white shirt in the bucket of water. Then wash in the machine as soon as your are well enough to wake up. Always worked for me.0

Pomegranate is a fairly good dye-stuff! But it has to be mordanted to fix it well, so unless you've pre-washed your shirt in copper sulphate or alum, you should be OK...Angie - GC Jul 25: £225.85/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)0
