Does anyone know what the rough cost of a new Combi Boiler would be. Also with the cost of installation and removal of the old boiler and tank?.
I presume the tank etc would need to be removed and should just be left ?
We have a boiler at the moment in the house we are moving to but I just want the figures in case we need to replace the old one. Also are Gas boilers more expensive to run than Combi's?
If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

Whether they are cheaper or not depends on how you use your water and heating. We had a combi installed where the old tank was just under 18months ago and it cost about £2,300 with a new shower to replace the old one.
I think it will depend on where you are in the country and make sure to get quotes as they ranged from about £1800 up to £4,500.
Hope that helps0 -
Costs can very much be influenced by whether the new boiler can go in the same place as the old one. A straight swap could be £1500-2000 depending n boiler chosen, if it needs moving you could be into a few thousand more.
You also need to ensure a combi is the best option for the property.0 -

A combi is a gas boiler...are you muddling combi boilers with condensing boilers maybe? As above, first get your RGI to do a site inspection to see if the property is even suitable for a combi. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
