Alcudia Excursions - pre-book or not ?

Hi all

Going to Majorca next week for 7 nights and have been looking at the No-Frills website for excursions, trips, etc.

Is it worth pre-booking now (and get pinned to the day), just pitch up on any day and hope there are places or book locally ?

Never been, so don't know if there would be any deals ran from the hotel.

Any ideas or opinions as to what is best?

:T

Generally, as long as you avoid booking through the reps or the hotel/complex, you'll get a good deal from the excursion shops.

We found there was no difference in price booking online or in one of the shops with nofrills. Good value anyway.

So I assume there would be one of these shops in Alcudia. :j

Will have a look on the interweb and see if I can find one :T

Must admit, I did look at this. But wasn't sure if it would be ok for kids (2 girls aged 15 and 11) ?

Have you looked at www.attractionworld.com I don't think you have to select a specific date with them, just the start date of your holiday.

The rural trip probably isn't going to do much for youngsters, we had one lady 80+ that had to be helped into her hotel after too much free wine. We booked in Alcudia but it was a bit cheaper if you did it on the internet but you commit yourself to the weather. Shame about the name as it makes them sound cheap and we thought they were the opposite
