RBS to HALIFAX balance transfer failed

Hi
Just recently taken advantage of the Halifax 0% for 21 months on a balance transfer, so decided to transfer the balance of my RBS Platinum card. When I spoke to Halifax they said my card was invalid, which seems strange as I only used it 2weeks ago. It's not like I am trying to transfer thousands, just under £550. Halifax told me to speak to RBS so I did and they said there is no problem with my card and there should be no problem. So called halifax again and still the same issue - card invalid. Anybody else had this problem....?

Are you sure you are giving them the correct acc number.
How many numbers are there?Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -

I gave halifax the 16 digit number off my card and they said they could not process it as the card was invalid. I spoke to RBS who said that the Halifax system was out of date and they needed to do a manual override and need to update their system with the sort code and account number for RBS credit cards. I gave the information to the Halifax who advised they will update their system and told me call back in a few days to allow time for the update. Fingers crossed it will go through next time.....!!0
