Trying to pay off Virgin balance

Hi all
Just a quick query, I have about £250 left on my credit card and am trying to organise my finances to clear the final balance (woohoo!!)
On last months statement, minimum payment had to be received by 24th July although I have paid more than this since to bring it down to £250. Statement did say no interest to be charged if min paid.
The 0% runs out on 5th Aug, so does this mean I have to pay the full balance by then, or will it run to 24th Aug which would be next payment date?
I've tried ringing Virgin, but their menu service is so confusing and since I dont actually have the card (I cut it up as it was for a BT and I never used it since) I can't get too far without the card number.
I could pay it all by 24th, but it would leave me tight for a few days and as I'll be receiving a bonus in my wages at end of the month I'd rather do it then when I have a bit more room.
Hope this makes sense, would appreciate any advice or help, thanks in advance
