first direct switching bonus

I opened a first direct account around 1st may. the terms and conditions says for the bonus to be paid, we need to switch over 2+ more direct debits within 2 months. I sent my form in June, but I was away for 3 weeks, then I got a letter back saying more than 2 bank accounts would need 2 forms (though on the form, they have space for 2 bank accounts!). I did not see the letter until last week and I sent it off then. I got a letter back this morning saying my switching date would be 12 August.
So they confirmed the switch within 3 months, but the switching date is outside the 3 months windows, does that mean I won't get my switching bonus?

I would give them a call and ask to talk to the switching team. i opened the First account on 12/6/13 paid in my wages on the 20/6/13 my transfer date for direct debits is set for 11/7/13 yet i got the £100 joining bonus on 9/7/13.
It seems like your timescale is very long as most people get it within a month or 6 weeks. you may have to give them a bit of a push. the sooner you pay in the £1k better. the 2 DD don't have to be paid they just have to be setup on the account.Age: 24 / London/Ireland / Salary €49,000 / 1 London BTL (8% yield) / Total savings pot £12k+
