o2 Arena Cheap Parking Options (on a Saturday Night)

Hi all
I'm visiting the o2 for a concert on Sat 3rd August. Never been before....
Advanced booking for parking works out to £21. Just wondered if anyone who has been there before knows of cheaper alternatives? I don't mind a bit of a walk (but am going with my daughter who may not share that view!!!). Anything within a mile or two at most would be ok though....
Many thanks

Bit cheaper if you park in the tube station car park at £11, but I suspect you would need to get there early morning to get a space.

Personally I would recommend parking up at a tube station and get the tube to North Greenwich. My neighbour drove to an event at the 02 on a Saturday and we got the tube. She was stuck in traffic and it took her two hours to get there, when we had a stress free 30 minute journey using the tube. We were also home long before she was. She parked in a retail park which had a cinema and Sainsburys and got a bus to the o2 as she was running late, but it was about a 20 minute walk.
Tube station car parks.

Here the link to the Odeon cinema, which is on a retail park with a big car park my neighbour says. She says there are buses that go from there to the O2, but she does think after her Saturday journey to and from there it would be easier and quicker to get the tube.

The drinks and food inside the O2 arena is expensive (and not very good in the case of the food). They don't allow plastic bottles with lids on them into the O2 (apparently in case they can be thrown at the acts!!!!) so buy your drinks before entering the arena and put the lid in your pocket or have a spare lid in your pocket. Last time in the I was there a small bottle of water (they take the lids off before giving you the bottle) was £4. Restaurants before the show in the O2 will have queue to get in and there will be no offers on a Saturday night so eat eleswhere.0
