tyres for nothing?

Whilst looking for tyres online I checked out Halfords and found Bridgestones marked Web Price: £0.00 each I changed the quantity to 4 and total remained the same.Surprised to say the least,I booked my fitting time and checked out.I have since received my booking conformation which reads:-

Booking confirmation or not, by ordering via the website you are agreeing to their T&C's, one of which is

2.2. The Order shall only be deemed accepted by Halfords when you have paid for the goods, monies received by Halfords and the goods have been dispatched. Any email, order confirmation or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order does not constitute legal acceptance by Halfords of your order.

Common sense would dictate no you haven't. You may get (very) lucky though, although I doubt it!

Somebody was posting the link to the free (not) tyres all over Facebook this morning.

Bet it's going to be a nightmare for Halfords to sort out now,

just noticed Halfords have now realised there cockup and the tyres have been removed.

Vaio.No I haven't given them my payment details.but they do say they are free .

Hintza. I really don't know what to think.The terms and conditions garantee the web price,but buying on line gives them the option of changing that price when I go and get them fitted.

Shaun from Africa. the terms you quote are from a different site.The tyres are off the Halfords Auto Centres site which has its own terms.
