Thank Julie Miami is about 90 mins away from where he is. I'll take a look trouble is nurses and doc sleep saying to me just hang on. He'll need more care when/if he gets out and that when its important to come over - at same time I have 2 children under 7 so can't afford to go back and forth Christ- I'm not making sense so sorry. Head a mess

Try Carribean Connections too. They usually come up cheap on flights.
Maybe sleep on it and see how things are with him in the morning.

Julies right Debs, go to bed, things are always clearer in daylight. Best bet is to talk to the docs again in the morning and if they want you over, go talk to a travel agent locally.

What a dilemma to face, but things find a way of working out. Sleep ....

Thanks all for links to flights etc my worry is that the US health care system being as it is that as soon as he is "stable" but still very ill they will just punt him out have applied for the esta thing and got That sorted - I know tomorrow will give new perspective but reality is I will need to go out if not tomorrow then in 3 day or 5 days am just trying to minimise the damage
