    All the very best Alison. Thank you so much for all of your hard work posting comps and your tireless efforts and contributions to this forum. I understand exactly how you feel. My 14 yr old stepson was diagnosed with bone cancer in May this year. He is having chemo at the moment. Remember, this is not necessarily a death sentence. I know you are reeling at the moment and life seems to be cruel and unfair. Just take it step by step. An hour at a time and day by day. One thing at a time. Chemo isn't as bad as you think it is, if that is indeed what your hubby is facing. Don't try and think of the future, just focus on now in the present moment. It will help.

    Have just come across these posts when entering the pick me up comp. So sorry to hear about your news, Alison. I echo the sentiments of the other posters on this topic - prayers for you and your partner and hugs to you both. This is one of the good things about MSE - we may not personally know one another, but we are a whole community, who care about each other. Hope you find some distraction in comping and that some comping luck goes your way. Hope things take a turn for the better and that you get good news on 8th. xx
