making money go further advice

first off sorry if this is in the wrong place

looking for some advice as to how to make my wages go further will put down as much information as possible

income me- £1000 pcm
partner £2300 once in sept once in jan and once in april

outgoings

rent £495 pcm
council tax £112 pcm
gas and electric £80 4 weekly
virgin media £72 pcm
very £20 pm
mobile phone £20 pm

currently we have only my income we spent my oh last £2300 on buying a car and decorating the rented property we moved into
we have since got rid of the car as we couldnt afford to run it

when the next £2300 comes in we are going to clear all of my oh debts which amount to around £2000 so that she is debt free

the problem is that atm with only my wages coming in we are really struggling every month we end up borrwing money to get through but have to repay that out of our next months wage. we pretty much sold everything of value to get by.

my partner is currently looking for weekend work and has been for last 2 months but nowhere is taking on (she sends maybe 10 applications a day off)

we dont eat out we dont waste money we budget our food shop as much as possible we buy budget brands we dont have heating on all the time we dont buy new clothes regular.

i just struggle to see how i can do anything to make our situation better and it is starting to get me down so any help would be great.

if there is any info i have not put down just ask i will try and list as much as possible so i can get the advice we need

thanks

i had a feeling this would be the first thing to be picked up on lol

bassically we have the top virgin package including movies and its about all we do all day lol

that been said when we have a few quid spare we are going to buy a freesat box and get rid of virgin and go to talktalk or plusnet for phone and broadband

I agree with o4u Take the broadband only with Virgin Media, no need for phone service as you have mobiles (Costs me 17.50 a month I know there is cheaper still but you have to have a landline for that and I seem to get a reliable connection with them now), and get freeview / freesat elsewhere.

With just 6 lines of outgoings there is no much to cut except TV and mobile.
