Hi
I'm a 48 year old divorced female. I have two teenage children who I've holidayed alone with for the past 7 years but they'll be leaving for uni and won't want to come with me next year.
All my friends are married with children. I'm not confident enough to holiday alone (I was supposed to be going with a partner but we recently separated) but can't bear the thought of not going at all.
Has anyone holidayed with a specialist singles company and what were your experiences? At the moment I'd probably want to go on a beach type holiday - maybe a couple of excursions?
Look forward to hearing from anyone who has been

I haven't done a singles holiday but I went on an organised dance holiday alone in my 20's. it was nice as there were lots of others on their own, we had a shared interest, and there were organised lessons and planned nights out but also lots of free time to sight see. It was to Barcelona and I went out on my own each day to see the sights, then had salsa lessons each late afternoon. Usually some people would meet up for dinner and then we'd go on out to the salsa clubs organised by the rep. I paid to have my own room, but many people were paired up. It was great fun.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0
