fridge/freezer problem and is in warranty

I got a new fridge freezer delivered from tesco last summer, end of august.

Up until about a week ago it was fairly quiet in operation.

Now there is a noticeble buzzing noise when its cooling, it is coming from the base and back of the unit which is where all the motor is etc. Its not super loud but its loud enough to notice it as soon as walking in the same room as it.

Fridge still seems to be cooled, freezer not so sure ice is still frozen but I have a hunch temps arent in normal place.

Is a buzzing noise indicative of a fault?

If I ring tesco, they come out, say to ignore it can I insist on a replacement with the noise been evidence of a fault?

My fridge always makes a buzzing sound every now and again, I think its when its doing a boost. Have you tested the temperature of both?

    Make and model?

Has it become noisier since the weather has become warmer?

Irrespective of the make or the model they are ALL going to puff a bit in this weather. Hardly surprising really.

this is pretty whenever its on now. so if its cooling its buzzing. It happened suddenly, basically it never buzzed now it does all the time unless off.

I have no ways to test the temperature but things like ice cream seem ok. I dont think the fridge has failed I just think its about to fail. The noise sounds like pre failure.

    yes but thats coincidence.

it doesnt vary depending on time of day and the last few days has been cooler, its noiser than ever.

when i checked youtube the videos with the same noise had a diagnosis of failing compressor.
