credit checks

Are there any free reputable credit check agencies online WITHOUT having to sign up and cancel inorder to get it free?

Plus, does it affect my credit score if I use a credit check website to see what its like?

Noddle, but you only get the information from one CRA (the smallest, least used, one).

You don't have a (universal) "credit score". But searching your own file leaves no trace for lenders to see.

To be fair to Noddle, while hardly anybody searches it when you apply for credit, most companies to actually report to it, so it still gives you a good idea of how your accounts will appear to lenders.

I've found that noddle (Call Credit) has been used for ID checking, for new accounts and insurance quotes from comparison websites.

Noddle seem to have all my accounts too, and so make assumption that what is on there is also getting reported to the other two but worth a check once a year to make sure :D
