New to tablets....

I have sent myself 20 pictures from my laptop via email to my tablet.

How can I get my pics from Gmail to my files on my tablet please.

Open up gmail, tap the photo and is there not 3 small squares in the top right corner that you press to then save. No idea what tablet you have but I have a nexus 7.

Thanks, I will have a go with that.
I am completely new to tablets, wish Id bought a 10 inch net book to be honest, sometimes my brain aches....
Its an Archos 10.1

Wow, thank you so much, it is so simple if you know what youre doing, I did what you said, saved all and off it went.

Down loaded to the gallery, no problem.

I bought this 2nd hand and I have found some pics in the gallery that are not mine and I cant see a 'bin' or delete, any idea please.

Who said you cant teach an old dog new tricks.:D

How are you finding the tablet ?

To delete any pictures I tap the photo to open it and tap it so I get the 3 small squares in the top right corner, tap the squares and choose delete.

You would have been better off doing a factory reset me thinks.

I mebbe should have, but it was my first tablet lol, so never gave it a thought. It looked as if it had been but I think the seller must have just deleted things so it looked like that to me.

It was very frustrating to start with, no one to teach me so it was all trial and error but a few months on I have sorted apps, email, downloaded some stuff and now my piccs which I am most chuffed with. Its knowing what the symbols are for lol. I sometimes tap twice accidentally and end up further back than I want.
I bought it really to take away on holiday with us instead of a book really and to keep in touch with emails. And dammit, I took it away a few weeks ago and no blummin' wifi in the hotel, nor anywhere near, just my luck, but Im getting there lol
