Property boundary plan (Scotland)

Hi folks,
I'm looking to find out what are the correct boundaries for my property, the problem lies is that I'm in Scotland and have no idea where to start.
My back garden spreads over the two properties, one council one bought under Right to Buy and I know the current (ugly) fence is not on the correct boundary, the boundary is slightly further back and I want to replace this at my expense with a wall.
I've contacted the council who are as much good as a chocolate teapot, and got no where. So I need to get a copy of what was sold with the house which was purchased under Right to Buy to find out what was sold to them so I can use this as a guide for my wall.
Is this possible at all?
Thanks for any help in advance.

There should be a title plan with your title deeds, which you or your lender will have.
Failing that, Registers of Scotland should be your next port of call.0 -
Hi Googler,
Thanks for your reply, what I should have mentioned is that I am a council house too.
Council have given me permission for the wall but can't /won't confirm the original border.
Off to look at the registers now, any particular bit I should be looking for and is there a cost like the £3 for English stuff?
Please excuse my ignorance.0
