Incapacity benefit backpayment

Hi,
I recieved a letter on Saturday to say that a backpayment was to be issued to me...... however because of the length of time it took to resolve this issue I was forced on JobSeekers lest I become homeless.
Will the money I recieved from JSA affect the backpayment?
Will they know or is it my rsponsibility to inform them of my JSA claim?
Can I claim my missed cold weather payments?
Northern Ireland, South Belfast. Thanks in advance for any help.

In general.
If a decision has been revised, or changed on appeal, it's as if it had gone the other way in the first place.
So, you are put back into the same position as you would have been originally - cold weather payments will be paid.
You cannot be paid IB and JSA at the same time - for the period of overlap, the amount of IB backpayment should be reduced pound for pound.
And yes, if you get the wrong amount of backpayment - that includes the whole period without taking JSA payments into account - you need to tell them.0
