Thanks everyone for the support so far..
I'm surprised that I've got the mortgage valuation report as the exact amount we offered for that house (bank knows what we've offered as we told them in the mortgage application), but is it a co-incidence or do they normally do this?
Also I've got an another question. We got to know that the seller has made a insurance claim for solving the dampness problem, what should we do about that ? (ask any guarantees that they'd have got, and details of insurance claim).. Will that claim affect our premium?
Thanks.

Can't comment on the second question but valuations almost always come back the exact amount paid. They will only differ if the valuer thinks the buyer has overpaid for the property.0

unlikely to affect your premium as not your claim.
Unless it was something like flood damage etc which is linked to the area in that case (although does not sound like this was the case)0 -
Thanks.. Happy to know that my premium will not be affected..0
