Why do you think one will be better than the other?
Anyway, I haven't seen a plasma below 42 inch in shops for AGES so looks like you'll be going with LCD.
Look out for lag, and look out for a game mode that will help get rid of it.
AV Forums might be good for user feedback with consoles on particular models of TV.0 -
To my understand, plasma is better for motion0

I have a 32" Samsung LCD TV and find it too small for gaming.0

having had my (now dead) ps3 on an LCD and LED i would recommend the LED of the 2, it appears to be a sharper picture.
As said before, never seen a 32" plasma...0 -

It doesnt, the screen itself is the identical technology, it is only the backlighting that varies between the two.
Plasma are no longer made in the 32" size by any of the mainstream companies and so either you are going to buy older technology or from a generic manufacturer (and I am not even certain any of them do small plasma any more)
Plasma generally is accepted as having the better/ more realistic picture but the image is not as bright and the screen is glass fronted. In a bright room or one where you'll get reflections LED/ LCD is better even if the picture isnt quite as good.
Again, companies have piled their money into LED technology as production costs are lower than LCD. In theory there is little difference between them as the only difference is how they are lit and both have their issues.0 -
When my 4 years and 10 month old LCD died Richer Sounds gave me a shiny new LED Smart TV to replace it. Getting the thing set up to remove input lag took a lot of doing, I pretty much had to turn off 5 or 6 functions completely even when I had set HDMI 2 into Gaming mode but now it is fine. Very nice clear and vibrant picture on LED.
It certainly seems to have cut my electricity bill down, my usual usage was between 700-800KwH per 1/4, this 1/4 was 625. Yes we have the TV on from morning till night if we are in.0 -

We play games on our 43" plasma and there is no detectable lag at all, but then we do play on games mode. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Hence why I said "appears," was just offering my opinion...0 -
I got screen burn on my plasma after a lot of game playing, it did go after a while but it's worth consideringNothing to see here, move along.0
