car buying on card

I am looking to buy my son a car with my credit card then transfer it to a 0% deal. Anyone done this before? seems like a cheaper option than the finance deals they offered him, then looking to transfer ownership to his name on the vehicle if that is possible.

It's certainly cheaper if you know you will get the amount you want on a 0% deal and you know that you will either pay it off or get another 0% deal when the first one expires.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

Forgot one thing - the dealer might limit how much you can pay on a CC and/or add a fee for using one.

If you have any trouble with the car (i'll assume you're buying second hand) later on, you may have problems if you try to make a claim against the card issuer. Especially if you're going to register the car in your sons name.

Why not use a card with 0% on purchases then and save on BT fees?
